Ordo One is a dynamic startup based in Stockholm, Sweden, focused on developing cutting-edge, high-performance trading systems for professional trading firms. Our entire technology stack, from the macOS frontend to the Linux-based server side, is built using Swift. With a proven track record of successfully bringing multiple similar products to market, we're confident that we will execute our vision for a next-generation trading system. Currently a team of 9, we are looking to expand as we grow and scale our highly available platform.

API Engineer

As the owner of our platform's API, you'll have a key role and be responsible for defining and creating the core APIs that allow customers to build their trading and business logic. This role goes beyond writing code – it involves ensuring consistency, expressiveness, style, and performance while defining the API. You will also focus on documenting and evolving the API, currency types, and foundational aspects of the system.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a high-performance, expressive API in line with Swift best practices.
• Work on design and implementation of core components, API, and API currency types.
• Ensure thorough documentation and usability of the API, including building sample plugins.
• Help define and implement workflows for customer plugin development.
